um. check out these cookies given to me by a 2nd grader. He LOVED explaining how to attach the licorice tail. (you need a chopstick to make the hole). mice!
That mouse is awesome!!! It's funny you mention those chalk pastels...you know I can't stand them. They are so beautiful, but such an aweful mess. This year I ordered prang chalk pastels and they seem to be brighter than whatever I had before. I tell the kids to try to not make extra dust with the pastels and to rub them in with their fingers. We do a lot of eraser clean up too. The backgrounds of those portraits are construction paper crayons...they kind of look like pastels, but are obviously much easier to use.
