Friday (fine) art: Thomas Moran

I typically don't post images of realistic landscapes, but I just love this one by Thomas Moran.  You need to see it at the museum because it's actually quite large.  I suggest you plant your feet in front of the painting, look longer than our A/D/D selves allow, and study every detail in order to appreciate how talented he was.  The storm is my favorite part.  Did you know Moran was a big influence in getting Yellowstone preserved as a national park?
