After I paint I'm usually left with just a liiittle bit of watercolor on my palette. I absolutely hate wasting cad-red or cobalt blue so I use the leftovers to experiment with color, often making a small abstract painting. What I've been doing lately is using the paintings to create homemade cards for my friends. Just use an 8 x 10" piece of paper, paint away, then fold and fold again.
